Front and Back of green can now be mapped via GolfMapz.com
Just log in to the golfmapz.com site, and you can map front/back of greens by navigating to the course in the directory under the “gps enabled” course list, and then clicking on the Map Front/Back of Green link.
This goes through a similar approval process as marking the center of the green with our old tool.
Also, please do not use the “default course” option anymore, as it is introducing a bug that is not easily seen. (If you had saved a course in the previous version, please delete your application and re-download it from the app store - some users experience crashing when not deleting the app before updating).
We will send out an update ASAP to fix the issue. The gps distance finder should still be usable with the new version, no matter whether or not you use the default course option.

The new features are nice, but the website (www.vcaddygolf.com) gives errors when I try to submit a round that I’ve played. So, basically, there is no score tracking yet because I can’t upload rounds I’ve played!

I agree with Daniel. I had the same problem on 2/23/09. Could not submit round I played.

I also had same problem. I was under the impression that it submitted directly from the app because when I pushed the finish round button it said Data uploaded successfully or something like that. However, when I got on the site, there was no round under “My Rounds”, so I tried to go to submit round on the website and it just have an error page. Help? Explanation?

If you have a “Default Course” saved in your preferences, then you will not be able to see the scorecard online after you upload it (even though it says successful). We will give you a tool to be able to do this shortly, and we have submitted an update to get rid of the “Default course” option.
These changes will get all your past scorecards viewable on the website. If you DO have a default scorecard saved currently, please delete your app, and reinstall it (and DO NOT use the default course option).
